Identifiying GM's 3790556 Clutch Ball Stud

The General Motors part number 3790556 is the long style Clutch fork ball stud,
It is screwed into the bellhousing, then the clutch fork is attached to it.

Length
The "556" stud is approximately 1 13/16" in
overall length. Making it 5/16" longer than the
3729000 stud.

Side view
It is about 1 1/8" from threads to tip.

End view
It accepts a 3/8 Allen wrench for tightening.

SUMMARY: This was used on 1962-67 Chevy II's and 1965-70 Fullsized Chevrolets. These models both used a very straight and flat clutch release fork.
