from 1965-1974.

The "324" bellhousing inspection plate fits most
Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac housings.
Starter hole location is Specific to Pontiac.

GM added Ribbing for strength and rigidity.

Hole is mostly round with flat side towards the flywheel.

Oil pan seal is bumped out on engine side.
