GM Clutch Linkage
Most GM clutch Linkage consists of an Upper Rod (pedal to z-bar), Z Bar
(equalizer, bellcrank or lever), Lower Rod (z-bar to clutch release
fork), and various Springs,Extensions,Washers,Seals,Retainers and Clips.
I use old GM parts books and either N.O.S. or used parts for
identification. I will be buying Reproduction parts and comparing them
to the Originals so you can decide which parts to buy for your 4 Speed
Conversion or restoration.
Some of these parts are interchangeable,
others are Model specific. If you are building or restoring a Factory
correct car you need correct parts. If you are converting a car into a
fun driver not so much, but for a smooth conversion correct parts can't
be beat, and should be at least your starting point.
