Bellhousings with a 5 1/8" center hole I classify as truck, even though many car bells can and have been used on trucks with car transmissions. In turn many enthusiasts have used these Truck covers as an economical alternative to the 464697, 3899621 and 3872444 covers for 168 tooth flywheels, and to allow room for 12" clutch discs for extra clamping force. It is not recommended to use these housings with car transmissions without a front transmission bearing retainer adapter, because the extra large center hole can allow for misalignment problems resulting in broken parts.
